Born in the small town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana as a young child I learned to appreciate the love that food brings. I spent a good amount of time by my grandfather side watching and learning not just how to cook but how food always brought people together.

The time and techniques that went into preparing the food and the fellowship that came from breaking bread together placed a permanent stamp in my heart.

Born in New Jersey, raised in Southern California, I like to consider myself a "Bi-Coastal Child" After traveling, abroad in the United States Navy I relocated from San Diego, California to Atlanta , Georgia at the end of 2005. My outlook on food especially "soul food" was different after experiencing the different types of entrees from the countries I visited during my time in the service.
