Born in the small town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana as a young child I learned to appreciate the love that food brings. I spent a good amount of time by my grandfather side watching and learning not just how to cook but how food always brought people together. The time and techniques that went into preparing the food and the fellowship that came from breaking bread together placed a permanent stamp in my heart.
Over the years, I have worked to develop the flavor of my pound cake based cakes and cupcakes which provide a unique but delicious texture and flavor. I didn't stop with just cakes, our fresh baked breads, sweet loaves, and cookies pour quality into every pan.
From birthdays, to office, and holiday parties our goal is to deliver flavor and a memorable experience. From scratch baking, is important at Baked by the Pound, it's time to get back to the basics.
